Hello and welcome to my profile. My name is Linda and I am a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience supporting people with acute and chronic health conditions. I am also a Clinical Hypnotherapist. Throughout my journey in healthcare, I discovered the profound connection between mind and body and how self-esteem plays a pivotal role in overall well-being. My Background in Nursing
As a nurse, I dedicated over 20 years to caring for patients, focusing on their physical health and well-being. I loved the challenges and rewards of nursing, but I often noticed a common thread among many of my patients: feelings of low self-esteem and lack of confidence. Observing how these emotions affected their health outcomes deeply resonated with me.
My Struggles with Low Self-Esteem:
Despite my professional experience, I, too, struggled with self-doubt and limiting beliefs that held me back from fully embracing my potential. I often found myself feeling overwhelmed and questioning my abilities, especially during high-pressure situations.
For years, I felt trapped in a cycle of negative self-talk and doubt. I often compared myself to others, feeling that I didn’t measure up in personal and professional aspects. The belief that I wasn’t good enough shadowed my decisions, preventing me from pursuing opportunities that truly excited me.
I recalled moments when I hesitated to speak up in meetings or share my ideas, fearing I wouldn’t be taken seriously.
